“Industrializable art”

tabula rasa

Add nothing, subtract nothing

The essence of our open-baffle loudspeakers invites faith in sonic integrity and formal purity, where function shapes form. A design that favors clarity and depth over brute power, a minimalist vision in pursuit of rigorous fidelity.

“Honesty, utility, simplicity.”

Shaker proverb

Our approach draws on the ethos of minimal art. A reaction to the complexity of Abstract Expressionism. The goal of the minimalist movement is to focus on the essential, removing unnecessary details or distractions. This is the starting point of our approach: reproducing a sound work without artifacts.

Music set free

A single driver reproduces bass, midrange, and treble. It is therefore a point source, resulting in exemplary image precision and timbral consistency. Likewise, the absence of a frequency-splitting crossover avoids the problems associated with this type of filter. The driver used is high-efficiency and requires little power for home listening. This technology promotes fast transients and microdynamics, resulting in unparalleled liveliness and vitality.

Sonic transparency

We solve problems by removing their causes, stripping the object of the dross that clutters it. One driver, no cabinet, no electronic components. No enclosure, but an acrylic panel thanks to a purpose-built driver. PMMA is inherently low-resonance, and the open-baffle design also makes it possible to radically free the sound from standing waves.

The voice is sublime

Tabula rasa offers a high degree of resolution but without listening fatigue; on the contrary, the sound is smooth and nuanced. Honesty compels us to say that it favors the midrange over spectacular effect. But we know that the midrange delivers 80% of the emotion, and in this respect it fears no rival.

Choosing finesse

An amplifier of the utmost refinement is essential; power matters little: 2 × 2 W or 3 W is enough. We can point you toward perfectly suitable models.

Sustainable design

No planned obsolescence, with durability at the heart of our concerns. Recycled and recyclable acrylic glass, combined with a paper speaker cone. Designed and manufactured in France with care and precision.

Technical excellence

A 22.5 cm full-range driver is a point source. Its impedance is 8 Ω and its break-in period is 50 hours. It works with tube amplifiers delivering only 2 or 3 W and accepts up to 50 W with tube or solid-state amplification.

This is not a sound system. Listening is intended for home use, offering a pure and intimate sound experience.
